Casella di testo: kind of  music Casella di testo: La musica cinematografica e la musica interculturale si trovano al centro di un felice crocevia tra melodie fresche ed evocabili dagli ascoltatori ed arrangiamenti aventi lo 'spessore' della musica colta. Questo connubio mette d'accordo musicisti e ampio pubblico ed è un prezioso terreno d'incontro alla ricerca delle complicate corde emotive di un secolo, il Novecento, che ha forgiato Treni, Rotaie, Velocità, Settima Arte e grandissimi movimenti migratori di popoli. 1911 Lokomotif Orchestra (20 musicisti) e 1911 Lokomotif Ensemble (6 musicisti) propongono concerti con repertori dedicati alle musiche cinematografiche italiane ed internazionali conosciute presso il grande pubblico e alle musiche interculturali. Nel corso del concerto ogni brano o gruppo tematico di brani viene introdotto da un attore di teatro presente sul palco. La sua voce narrante racconta brevi aneddoti musicali e cinematografici per 'sintonizzare' i ricordi filmici degli ascoltatori ed accompagnarli lungo il  fil rouge cinematografico e musicale proposto da 1911 Lokomotif. Le partiture, scritte da arrangiatori professionisti per musicisti di conservatorio, si avvalgono di un'ampia tavolozza timbrica formata da strumenti classici, suoni etnici e sonorità synth delle avanguardie musicali. Casella di testo: Motion picture music and intercultural music are to be found in the heart of a lucky intersection between fresh melodies that evoke listeners’ memories and arrangements which have the same weight as cultured music. A somewhat union that pleases both musicians and the vast audience and it is a fertile meeting ground for the complicated emotional strings of a century, 1900, which has given birth to: trains, tracks, speed,  the Seventh Art and historical migratory movements of people.   1911 Lokomotif Orchestra offers concerts with a repertoire which includes motion picture and television music popular among the wide audience and musical pieces taken from film soundtracks and Italian, European and North American television serials. The orchestra has in its repertoire over sixty movie themes , among which a selection of pieces taken from science fiction, epic medieval films and intercultural music.   Throughout the concert  each musical piece or theme group  is voice-overly introduced by  a theatre actor ( present on stage) who tells short music and  movie tales in order to tune the listeners’ movie memories and lead them through the film “ fil rouge” which 1911 Lokomotif  Orchestra proposes. The arrangements, made for orchestras with twenty musicians and ensembles of six instrumentalists, rely on a wide timbre palette which goes from classical instruments to ethnic sonorities and synthesized ones.
